Daniel Pinto -
Managing Partner and Chairman of the
Board
Daniel is co-founder of
Stanhope Capital. He has considerable experience
in wealth management and merchant banking,
having advised some of Europe's most prominent
families and industrialists for over 18 years.
Formerly Senior Banker at UBS Warburg in London
and Paris concentrating on mergers and
acquisitions, he was a member of the firm's
executive committee in France. He was also Chief
Executive of a private equity fund backed by CVC
Capital Partners.
A regular contributor
of articles and editorials on economic and
financial issues to leading newspapers, Daniel
sits on several prominent investment committees.
He is also the Chairman and Founder of the New
City Initiative, a think tank comprised of the
leading independent investment management firms
in the UK. He received his MBA from
Harvard Business School, graduated from Institut
d'Etudes Politiques de Paris with a MA in
Economics and holds a MSc in Finance from
Universite Paris-Dauphine.

Julien Sevaux -
Managing Partner
Julien is
co-founder of Stanhope Capital. He has over 18
years' experience in wealth management and
corporate finance for substantial
entrepreneurial families and their businesses.
He is a former board member of Worms & Cie,
the diversified banking and
industrial family group which in 1973
founded Permal, a pioneer fund of hedge funds.
Prior to co-founding Stanhope Capital, he was a
Partner in Lehman Brothers' Private Equity Group
and Senior M&A Banker in the firm's New York
and London offices.
Julien received his
MBA from New York University's Stern School of
Business, is an alumnus of Oxford University and
holds a BA in History and Economics from Brown
University.

Jonathan Bell - Chief
Investment Officer
Jonathan has
over 22 years' experience in fund management,
asset allocation and manager selection. Jonathan
was formerly Chief Investment Officer of Newton
Private Investment Management and a member of
Newton's Executive Management committee, overall
investment committee and strategy group
responsible for the $37 billion under
management. Previously he was Senior Investment
Manager of Principal Investment Management
(formerly a subsidiary of PPP Healthcare) and
Assistant Director of BZW Portfolio
Management.
A Fellow of the Securities
Institute, Jonathan received his MBA from
Cranfield School of Management and holds a BA
(Hons) in Economics and Politics. Jonathan is
the author of 'Start With The Map The Right Way
Up', an introduction to investment, and of
numerous investment related
articles.

Tarek AbuZayyad -
Partner, Client Advisory & Merchant
Banking
Tarek is a Partner
at Stanhope Capital, and has over 15 years
experience in M&A, private equity/venture
capital and asset management for high net
worth families. Formerly Managing Director at
Berggruen Holdings, a family office / private
equity firm, and Director in M&A /
Corporate Finance at Credit Suisse and
Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York and
London.
Tarek is currently a director of Lorne
Stewart plc, SNS Holdings Ltd and Blossom
M&C Ltd. He is also a member of the advisory
board of the Freeman Spogli Institute for
International Studies at Stanford
University.
Tarek holds an MBA from
Harvard Business School and an AB Economics from
Stanford University.

Ivo Coulson - Partner,
Head of Portfolio
Management
Ivo has over
25 years of experience in investment management.
He is a Partner and head of portfolio management
at Stanhope Capital.
Ivo was
formerly a partner at Tiburon Partners, a
specialist equity management group, after
successfully organising the sale of his family
company to a listed plc. Between 1994 and 2002
he was at SG Warburg, as head of the investments
funds broking desk, and was voted no. 1 in his
field in the Extel survey. Previously Ivo was at
BZW where he managed UK equity portfolios.
Ivo graduated from Cambridge university in
1985 with an MA in law. He is a Fellow of the
CISI and has served on the Board of several
Private and Public listed companies.

James
Hordern - Partner, Head of
Research James
is responsible for
research and manager
selection within
Stanhope's Investment Department. He has
over 20 years of experience in
investment management. He was formerly a
main board Director at Dalton
Strategic Partners. James began his career
at Mercury Asset Management before moving to
head up the European, EAFE and Global
Specialist Strategies at Goldman Sachs Asset
Management.
James is a member of the
Investment Advisory Panel of the Royal
College of Physicians, a Director of the
Salters' Management Company
and a Director of the Corporate
Trustee Company of South Kensington Estates.
He graduated from Durham University
in 1990 with a B.A. Hons degree in Modern
Languages and is an Associate of the Society of
Investment Professionals. He is also an
Associate of the CFA Society of the
UK.

Guy Paterson - Partner, Client
Advisory Guy
has twenty five years experience of the
financial markets. He is a partner in the Client
Advisory Team. He headed the client advisory
practices of Guinness Mahon and Granville Baird
from 1996 to 2001 and then ran the London
operation of Unigestion Family Investment Office
from 2001 to 2010. He specialises in advising
families and trusts on the design and
implementation of investment policy.
Guy
qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat
Marwick Mitchell before spending ten years in
corporate finance. He was subsequently chief
executive of Linguaphone Group plc, an
international language publisher, before
returning to investment
markets.
He graduated with an
MA in History from Oxford
University.

Choblet - Senior Director, Client
Advisory
Jean-Marc is a
Senior Director in the Client Advisory team and
has over 10 years experience in wealth
management, advising high net worth families in
Europe. He was formerly a Vice President at JP
Morgan where he spent 13 years in Paris and
London.
Jean-Marc Choblet holds a Master
in Economics and Finance from University of Lyon
in France.

Naveed Chaudhry -
Senior Director, Investment
Management
Naveed is a Senior
Director in the Investment Management team and
has over 15 years experience in the wealth
management industry. He was formerly at Duemme
Capital (Banca Esperia) where he was leading
research for hedge fund investments. Prior to
that Naveed was a senior member of the fund of
hedge funds team at Schroders and spent 9 years
at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch mainly as an
investment manager in the fixed income
team.
Naveed is a Chartered Financial
Analyst and holds a BSc in Banking and
International Finance from Cass Business
School.

Clare Turner - Joint
Chief Operating Officer
Clare has
over 20 years of Client Services
experience. She is responsible for
Operations, Finance and HR. She was
formerly Director of Rupert Loewenstein Ltd,
business managers to the Rolling Stones, where
she was responsible for the client relationship.
She was also CFO of the firm.
Clare is a Chartered Accountant (Ernst &
Young) and holds a BSc. Environmental &
Evolutionary Biology (University of
Liverpool).

Rupert
Mahon - Joint Chief Operating
Officer Rupert is
responsible for operational due diligence, legal
& compliance affairs and for general
fund/investment administration and custody.
Rupert qualified as a lawyer in 1999 and has 14
years experience in law and investment
management. Rupert joined Stanhope Capital in
2009 from Dalton Strategic Partnership LLP,
where he was a partner and member of the
management comittee with responsibility for a
variety of matters including the above.
Rupert has also been a partner in a small firm
(which he jointly founded) specialising in
bespoke investment products for clients, working
in conjunction with various private banks and
has practiced as a lawyer with experience in
financial services and corporate
law.
Rupert obtained his law degree in
1995 (University of Wales) and qualified as a
solicitor (England and Wales) in
1999.

Nicole Curti - Managing
Director, Stanhope Capital
Switzerland
Nicole is in
charge of the Swiss office of Stanhope Capital.
She was formerly a Vice-President at
Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch in Geneva, where
she worked for 10 years in various departments
(Key Client Team, Global Custody and
Institutional Clients).
Nicole received her MBA from ESADE Business
School in Barcelona and obtained her BA in
Political Science from the University of
Lausanne.
