Adam Greville-Collins

Senior Director, Portfolio Management

Adam has over sixteen years of experience in financial services, the majority in investment management. He is a Senior Director in the Portfolio Management team, which he joined in 2006.

Adam was formerly a private client portfolio manager at Premier Asset Management where he was also responsible for analysing alternative investment products.

Adam graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an LLB in Law. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a Chartered Wealth Manager and holds the SII Diploma.

Anne Béjui-Thivolet

Senior Director, Portfolio Management

Anne is a Senior Director and joined the Portfolio Management Team in 2009.

She started her career at JPMorgan under their graduate programme and spent four years working in Investment Banking for the London Credit Derivatives Trading desk and in Credit Prime Brokerage. Prior to that Anne worked for JPMorgan Private Bank in Paris as an analyst for the Investor Team.

She holds a Masters in Finance (Hons) from Reims Management School (Grande Ecole).

Rakesh Sharma

Senior Director, Merchant Banking

Rakesh leads Stanhope Capital’s Merchant Banking team, and has over 15 years of experience in investment banking.

During his career he has advised FTSE100, FTSE250, and smaller companies on all aspects of corporate finance including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and secondary capital raisings.  Most recently he was at Panmure Gordon & Co, and prior to this, in the UK healthcare and chemicals corporate finance team at JPMorgan Cazenove.

Rakesh gained a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Cambridge University, and a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College.

Malin Henschel

Head of Operational Due Diligence

Malin joined Stanhope in 2011 to form and head the Operational Due Diligence department.

She was previously at Olympia Capital Management where she was in charge of operational due diligence on European and Asian based hedge fund managers.

Malin is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MSc in corporate finance from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3.

Christophe Karpiel

Chief Investment Risk Officer (Global) and Head of Investment Management (Geneva)

Christophe has more than 30 years of experience in investment management. He is Head of Investment Management in Geneva, and Chief Investment Risk Officer globally.

Christophe has extensive experience in the HNW and UHNW private client world, having worked as Deputy Head of HNWI/UHNWI Portfolio Management at BNPP AM GPM, Paris from 2005 until 2014, and as Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Fund Picking at IXIS AM PCM, Paris from 1998 until 2005.

Prior to joining IXIS AM PCM, Christophe was Head of Financial Engineering and ALM at ABN Amro France (formerly OBC Bank) in Paris from 1990 until 1997, and Head of Portfolio Management and Financial Analysis at SOREFI Nord-Pas de Calais in Roubaix, France from 1987 until 1989. He began his career at Européenne de Banque as a private banker.

Christophe holds a Masters in Management, Finance and Economics from EDHEC Business School (1985) and is a Certified European Financial Analyst SFAF/EFFAS (2000). He is a Member of the Board of Examiners for EDHEC Business School admissions, a Member of the SFAF (French Financial Analysts’ Association) and the Club of Investment Strategists (Geneva).

Jérôme Sibony

Head of Private Equity

Jérôme is head of Private Equity, which comprises direct investments as well as private funds, with responsibility for the selection and monitoring of private equity funds for Stanhope’s diversified private equity programmes. Jérôme has over 15 years of experience in private equity. Prior to joining Stanhope Capital, he was a Senior Principal at Neo Investment Partners, a €300 million Small/Mid Cap PE Fund which specialised in international roll-outs of consumer brands. Prior to that he was an Executive Director and Head of Investments at GE Capital’s Private Equity division in London. He also held positions at Activa Capital and Atlas Venture in Paris and London.

Jérôme is a graduate of HEC Paris and has a master in Corporate and Tax Law at University of Paris Sud.

David Nolan

Founding Director, Stanhope Capital (Jersey)

David is a Founding Director of Stanhope Capital (Jersey) Limited and has been a Non Executive Director on the Management board of the Stanhope Group since 2011.  He has over 30 years’ experience within the Investment management services industry covering both the UK and offshore markets.  David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (Chartered FCSI) and also holds the IAC.  Prior to joining Ivey Cox, David was the Managing Director of Walbrook Investment Consultants Limited (WIC), from 2004 to 2007, with responsibility for the supervision of Trust & Company assets of approximately $3bn. He also served as an independent member on the investment board for Kedge Capital Funds during this time.  He was a judge on the Private Asset Managers (PAM) panel from 2002 to 2014 and was Chairmen of the Quality and Clarity of reporting committee from 2012 to 2014. He is also a member of the Jersey Institute of Directors.

Previously, David was Director of Investment Strategy at Deloitte Jersey, with responsibility for the selection and review of all external financial service providers, including third party investment managers and Treasury relationships. He originally relocated to Jersey in 1995 from the UK, as Head of Investments at Coutts (Jersey) Limited, having begun his investment career as a portfolio manager with NatWest Investments in the UK in London and Bristol.

Jonathan Overland

Founding Director, Stanhope Capital (Jersey)

Jonathan is a founder Director of Stanhope Capital (Jersey) Limited and has been a Non Executive Director on the Management board of the Stanhope Group since 2011. He has over 20 years’ experience within the Investment management industry covering both the UK and offshore markets.  Jonathan’s prior experience in wealth management comes from his time as Head of Private Clients and Charities at Lazard Asset Management Limited and Director of Newton (formerly Capital House) International Investment Management Limited.

Jonathan is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (“CISI”) and a Chartered Wealth Manager and holds the Investment Management Certificate.  In 2004 he was a winner of the CISI Diploma Private Client Investment Advice & Management Award.

Victoria Meyer

Head of Middle Office

Victoria is responsible for client reporting and reconciliation of custodial accounts. Victoria has been with Stanhope Capital for almost 10 years and previously worked for the head office for Stora Enso in Frankfurt for 12 years where she gained extensive experience in liquidity management, pensions and accounting.

Victoria also worked in Paris and Dublin and is fluent in 3 languages.
