On 1st and 15th February we held our annual Family Balance Sheet event.
The Event is designed to give families and trustees a brief overview of the key UK asset classes: how they have performed and the outlook. This will include a UK tax and planning overview from Forsters, our kind hosts.
Each year we ask speakers to comment on the most obvious risk to UK families. In recent years these have been Brexit, Corbyn, Covid and last year: inflation. This year we consider the key risk to be the impact of rising interest rates now that inflation has arrived. The opening talk to set the scene will be given by George Egan who is Head of Fixed Income at Stanhope Capital.
