Stanhope Capital  is a global investment office providing investment management and advisory services to private clients, charities and endowments.

Our mission is to offer institutional quality investment expertise combined with the high service standards required by our clients. In order to deliver this, we have built our reputation on three pillars: objectivity, alignment of interest and intelligence.

Based in London, Geneva, and Jersey, Stanhope is now one of the largest private investment offices in Europe, overseeing over $9.5bn in assets.

We are not tied to in-house managed funds or products.

Our team is free to focus on the most appropriate investment solution for an individual portfolio without conflicts of interest. We implement customised portfolios with the objective of selecting the best managers or funds, wherever they may be.

We only receive fees from our clients and all rebates negotiated on their behalf are entirely passed on to them. This allows us to be completely objective.

At Stanhope, the assets of the partners, the founding families and the clients are managed side by side.

All clients can expect the same high levels of service, and are on the same fee scale.

Access to the same managers is also assured across our clients, with capacity being shared pro-rata between them.

Stanhope Capital has over 75 employees based in London, Geneva and Jersey.

Our investment team is led by experienced professionals who have managed equity, bond and hedge fund portfolios in some of the world’s most reputable fund management firms prior to joining Stanhope Capital.

In addition to our core team, Stanhope’s Advisory Board is chaired by Lord Browne of Madingley, formerly Group Chief Executive of BP, and includes Sir Martin Sorrell, Chief Executive of WPP; Stephen Lash, Chairman Emeritus of Christie’s Americas; Michael Zaoui, co-founder of Zaoui & Co. as well as Martin Naville, CEO of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce.
